Software Process Engineer

The role

As a Software Process Engineer within the Process and Tools Group, you are responsible for defining, improving and deploying processes for all development projects. This also includes KPI reporting. You will work closely with quality assurance, the project development teams, IT and DevOps to achieve goals required for projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define maintain and improve the NSEU Technical Process definition across all development projects.
  • Support development teams in process tailoring, deployment and improvement.
  • Assure the compliance of all process assets (process flows, documentation etc.) with all major automotive standards and models such as
  • Automotive SPICE, Functional Safety, IATF and Cyber Security.
  • Ensure, plan and manage the Continuous Process Improvement process and its ticket system in the technical department.
  • Create and provide process related training in form of: documentation, video training, workshops etc.
  • Contribute to process standardization and implementation of best-known engineering practices in all technical departments, projects and development locations across Europe.
  • Contribute to the definition of interfaces between technical department and other organization functions, including global processes for NS Japan.

Your profile

  • University degree in Software Engineering, IT Engineering, Quality Engineering or similar.
  • Experience in automotive software / system / test engineering minimum 2 years.
  • Good knowledge of Automotive SPICE, Functional Safety, IATF and Ciber Security for Automotive standards.
  • Hands on experience in tools: e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Stages, Jenkins, SVN, GIT, etc.
  • Experience with control and monitoring of KPIs and reporting
  • Practical knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office tools
  • Good intercultural communication skills
  • Very good command of the English language, both written and spoken
  • Soft Skills: Proactive, Cooperative, Team Player, with “Can Do” attitude and “Bright” open minded
