Nippon Seiki (Europe) B.V (NSEU) has been established in 2002 and is a fully owned subsidiary of Nippon Seiki Co. Ltd., based in Nagaoka, Japan. Our European headquarter is located in Hoofddorp – The Netherlands. We focus on the European automotive market with our engineering sites located close to the industry in Munich, Redditch (UK) and a software development office in Gdansk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop improvements plans for suppliers. Coach supplier staff and lead improvement process to archive the required milestones and quality targets.
  • Lead supplier performance reviews, including data analysis, delivering regular review presentation to management and leading the achievement of agreed actions.
  • Lead the audit of supplier quality management systems and process using Nippon Seiki audit methods and tools.  Auditors normally travel and work alone at supplier premises.
  • Perform supplier audits as requested.
  • Report results of audits to the management by using standard report formats.
  • Lead supplier APQP/PPAP activities.

  • Review drawings, PPAP’s, Control plan, FMEA, etc. documentation as required.

Your Profile

  • University degree in engineering, electrical engineering, automotive engineering or an equivalent qualification
  • Experience in the following roles is desirable: Quality engineer, supplier development engineer or project management experience in automotive industry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and spoken, English is required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Be flexible and have an open approach to changes.
  • Open to travel for work, this role involves 20%-30% travel.
